RHOBA SUPRA E101 is a liquid, acidic paint remover for dipping applications and is used undiluted and at room temperature.

Heating up to 40°C is possible and can shorten the paint stripping time. Remove coarse dirt and oil from the parts to be stripped. They must also be absolutely dry.

Keep the immersion bath slightly agitated to reduce the paint stripping time. Depending on the type, thickness and age of the coating, this can range from a few minutes to several hours, or even several days in the case of thicker layers of paint.

Ingress of water reduces the paint stripping performance and considerably reduces the bath life; it can also lead to the formation of corrosion on light metals.

Once the paint stripping process is complete, the parts are rinsed in a water bath or sprayed with a strong jet of water, ensuring that no water gets into the paint stripper bath. Once the paint has been completely removed, any slightly adhering paint residue should be removed from the surface using a brush, rubber scraper, hard brush or a strong jet of water.

In the case of steel or iron workpieces, subsequent passivation with products from the RHOBA SUPRA C series may be necessary to prevent rust formation. Because dissolved paint sediments, therefore it is possible to drain off the dissolved sedimented paint if the immersion bath is designed accordingly. We recommend filtering when draining in order to save disposal costs and to be able to reuse the liquid paint remover. The bath can be resharpened with fresh paint remover at any time, depending on the condition of the bath.
